How To Make Chicharon?

Cut pork skin and fat into bite-sized pieces

Boil the pork skin with salt, pepper, garlic, and bay leaves until tender

Drain well and let the pieces dry completely

Refrigerate or air-dry the pieces until very dry

Heat oil in a deep pan or pot

Fry the dried pork pieces in hot oil until puffed and crispy

Remove and drain on paper towels

Season with salt while still hot

Serve with vinegar or your preferred dipping sauce
