How To Make Cilantro Lime Rice?

Rinse 1 cup long-grain white rice until the water runs clear

Heat 1 tablespoon oil or butter in a saucepan over medium heat

Add the rice and toast for 1 to 2 minutes

Add 2 cups water or broth and 1/2 teaspoon salt

Bring to a boil

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 to 18 minutes

Remove from heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes

Fluff the rice with a fork

Stir in 2 tablespoons lime juice, 1 teaspoon lime zest, and 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Add more salt or lime juice to taste
