How To Make Coconut Chutney?

1 cup grated fresh coconut

2 to 3 green chilies

1/4 cup roasted chana dal

1 small piece ginger

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup water, as needed

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

1 to 2 dried red chilies

1 tablespoon oil

1 sprig curry leaves

Grind coconut, green chilies, roasted chana dal, ginger, salt, and water into a smooth chutney

Add lemon juice and mix well

Heat oil in a small pan

Add mustard seeds and let them splutter

Add dried red chilies and curry leaves

Pour the tempering over the chutney

Mix and serve
