Mix equal parts of all three primary colors (red, blue, yellow)
OR mix complementary colors (e.g., red + green, blue + orange, yellow + purple) until the result is very dark
Use a neutralizing approach: start with a deep base color (blue or brown) and gradually add small amounts of the complementary color until black forms
Add a small amount of purple or blue to deepen a dark brown to near-black
For paint, reduce brightness by adding a tiny amount of black or very dark pigment as needed
For light (RGB), set R, G, and B to 0 (e.g., RGB(0,0,0))
For screens/HTML, use #000000
For ink/dyes, combine dark pigments (carbon/black pigment) with minimal colorant to avoid tinting
