How To Make Custard At Home?

2 cups milk

3 egg yolks

1/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Heat the milk in a saucepan until warm

Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl

Slowly add a little warm milk to the egg mixture while whisking

Pour the mixture back into the saucepan

Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened

Remove from heat

Stir in the vanilla extract

Pour into bowls or a serving dish

Chill before serving
