How To Make Dalia?

Rinse 1 cup dalia under water

Heat 1 to 2 tablespoons oil or ghee in a pan

Add cumin seeds and let them splutter

Add chopped onion and sauté until light golden

Add ginger, green chili, and chopped vegetables if using

Add the rinsed dalia and roast for 2 to 3 minutes

Add salt, turmeric, and any other spices you prefer

Add 2.5 to 3 cups water

Mix well and bring to a boil

Cover and cook on low heat until the dalia is soft and the water is absorbed

Stir occasionally to prevent sticking

Add more water if needed for a softer texture

Turn off the heat

Garnish with coriander leaves if desired

Serve hot
