Gather white school glue
Gather warm water
Gather borax or liquid starch
Gather food coloring if desired
Pour glue into a bowl
Add a small amount of warm water
Mix until smooth
Add food coloring if desired
In a separate cup, mix borax with warm water or use liquid starch
Slowly add the activator to the glue mixture
Stir until the mixture starts to clump
Knead the mixture with your hands
Continue kneading until it becomes firm and elastic
Shape it into a ball
Store the elastic ball in an airtight container
