Get wood planks or sticks
Get fence materials: 6 wooden planks for 6 fences (or 1 fence per recipe set)
Open the crafting table
Place 2 wooden planks in the top row (left and right)
Place 2 wooden planks in the middle row (left and right)
Place 2 wooden planks in the bottom row (left and right)
Place 2 sticks in the center column (middle row and bottom row)
Drag the fence into your inventory
Place the fence by targeting a block and using the fence item
Attach fences to adjacent blocks (fence posts connect automatically when placed close to other fences)
