Install corner and end posts securely

Install line posts at regular intervals

Attach insulators to all posts

Run the fence wire or tape through the insulators

Tension the wire or tape properly

Install gates and gate handles

Mount the energizer in a dry, protected location

Connect the energizer to the fence line

Install grounding rods according to the energizer instructions

Connect the grounding system to the energizer

Connect the energizer to a proper power source or battery

Place warning signs at required intervals and entry points

Test the fence voltage with a fence tester

Check for shorts, broken insulators, loose connections, and vegetation contact

Trim vegetation near the fence regularly
