Call utility locating services before digging
Measure the fence line and mark post locations
Gather materials and tools
Dig post holes to the required depth and width
Add gravel to the bottom of each hole
Set the corner and end posts first
Plumb the posts and brace them in place
Fill holes with concrete and let it cure
Install line posts and intermediate posts
Attach rails to the posts
Slide or lock vinyl panels into place
Install gates and gate hardware
Check alignment, level, and spacing throughout
Trim any excess material if needed
Secure caps and finish all post tops
Clean the fence and inspect all connections
