Boil fresh water
Measure coffee grounds
Place a filter in the dripper or coffee maker
Add the coffee grounds to the filter
Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds to wet them evenly
Wait a few seconds for the coffee to bloom
Slowly pour the remaining hot water over the grounds
Let the coffee drip fully into the pot or cup
Remove the filter and grounds
Serve the coffee hot
