Open your web browser
Go to your browser settings
Find the Search Engine section
Select Google as the default search engine
Save your changes
If Google is not listed, add it manually
Set Google as the default option after adding it
Restart the browser if needed
On Chrome, go to Settings > Search engine > Search engine used in the address bar
On Edge, go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Address bar and search
On Firefox, go to Settings > Search > Default Search Engine
On Safari, go to Settings > Search > Search engine
On mobile browsers, open the browser app settings and change the default search engine to Google
If your device uses a system-wide search setting, update that setting as well
