Warm 1 cup pineapple juice until lukewarm

Mix the pineapple juice with 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar

Let sit until foamy

Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup melted butter, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Stir in 4 to 5 cups all-purpose flour gradually

Knead until smooth and elastic

Place dough in a greased bowl and cover

Let rise until doubled in size

Punch down the dough

Divide into equal pieces and shape into rolls

Place rolls in a greased baking pan

Cover and let rise until puffy

Brush tops with melted butter

Bake at 350°F until golden brown

Brush with more melted butter after baking
