How To Make Hibachi At Home?

Heat a large skillet, griddle, or flat-top over medium-high to high heat

Prepare cooked white rice and keep it warm

Cut chicken, steak, shrimp, or tofu into bite-size pieces

Season protein with salt and pepper

Chop onions, zucchini, mushrooms, and carrots

Mix soy sauce, butter, garlic, and a little sesame oil for flavor

Add oil to the hot pan

Cook the protein until browned and fully cooked

Remove the protein and set aside

Add vegetables to the pan and cook until tender-crisp

Push vegetables to the side and add butter and garlic

Add the cooked rice to the pan

Pour in soy sauce and toss the rice until evenly coated

Return the protein to the pan

Stir everything together and cook briefly

Serve with yum yum sauce, ginger sauce, or teriyaki sauce

Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired
