How To Make Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies?

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C)

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Cream together 1 cup softened butter, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, and 3/4 cup brown sugar

Beat in 2 large eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients

Stir in 2 cups chocolate chips

Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet

Leave space between each cookie

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, until the edges are golden brown

Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes

Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely
