How To Make Matar Paneer?

Heat oil or ghee in a pan

Add cumin seeds and let them splutter

Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown

Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears

Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies

Cook until the tomatoes turn soft and the oil separates

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt

Mix well and cook for a minute

Add green peas and a little water

Cover and cook until the peas are tender

Add paneer cubes

Stir gently to coat the paneer with the masala

Add garam masala and kasuri methi

Cook for a few more minutes

Add fresh cream if desired

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves

Serve hot with roti, naan, or rice
