Mix the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Shape the mixture into meatballs
Heat olive oil in a pan
Brown the meatballs on all sides
Remove the meatballs from the pan
Cook chopped onion in the same pan until soft
Add tomato sauce to the pan
Return the meatballs to the sauce
Simmer until the meatballs are cooked through
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil
Cook the pasta until al dente
Drain the pasta

Top with extra Parmesan if desired
