Gather rails, powered rails, redstone torches, minecarts, and building blocks
Choose a route for the railroad
Clear and level the path
Build a flat track base
Place rails along the route
Place powered rails at regular intervals and on slopes
Power powered rails with redstone torches, levers, or redstone blocks
Add stations with platforms and stops
Build turns, bridges, tunnels, or supports as needed
Place minecarts on the rails
Test the track and fix broken sections
Add signs, lighting, and safety barriers if desired
