1/2 cup popcorn kernels
3 tablespoons coconut oil or canola oil
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring, optional
Pop the popcorn in the oil over medium heat
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat
Skim off the foam from the melted butter
Pour the clear yellow butter over the popcorn
Sprinkle with salt
Add butter flavoring if desired
Toss to coat evenly
Serve immediately
