Gather 10 obsidian blocks
Get a flint and steel
Build a rectangular frame 4 blocks tall and 5 blocks wide with the inside hollow
Place the obsidian in a 2 by 3 opening
Make sure the frame corners can be left out
Use the flint and steel on the inside of the frame
Enter the purple portal to travel to the Nether
