1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup pasta water, as needed
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat
Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds
Pour in heavy cream and stir
Bring to a gentle simmer
Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning
Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth
Simmer until thickened
Add pasta water a little at a time if needed
Toss with cooked fettuccine and serve immediately
