Gather materials: pin blanks, pin backs, artwork, scissors, glue, and a pin press or button maker
Design the pin artwork at the desired size
Print or draw the design on suitable paper or material
Cut the design to fit the pin blank
Place the artwork onto the pin blank
Attach the clear cover or laminate layer if required
Press the pin components together using a pin press or button maker
Attach the pin back securely
Check that the pin is firmly assembled
Repeat for additional pins
