How To Make Potstickers?

Gather potsticker wrappers, ground pork or chicken, cabbage, scallions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper

Finely chop the cabbage and scallions

Mix the meat, cabbage, scallions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each wrapper

Moisten the wrapper edge with water

Fold the wrapper in half and pinch to seal, pleating one side if desired

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat

Arrange the potstickers in the skillet in a single layer

Cook until the bottoms are golden brown

Add a small amount of water to the skillet

Cover and steam until the water evaporates and the filling is cooked through

Remove the lid and let the bottoms crisp again

Serve with soy sauce, vinegar, or dipping sauce
