How To Make Rice?

Rinse 1 cup rice under cold water until the water runs mostly clear

Add the rice to a pot with 2 cups water (or broth)

Add a pinch of salt (optional)

Bring to a boil over high heat

Reduce heat to low, cover with a tight lid

Simmer 15–20 minutes (white rice) or until water is absorbed

Turn off heat and let it sit, covered, 5–10 minutes

Fluff with a fork and serve
