Place the petals in a pot
Add just enough distilled water to cover the petals
Cover the pot with a lid
Simmer on low heat until the petals lose their color
Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool
Strain the liquid into a clean glass container
Store the rose water in a sterilized bottle
Keep it in the refrigerator
