How To Make Roti Without Rolling Pin?

Mix whole wheat flour, water, and salt into a soft dough

Knead the dough until smooth

Rest the dough for 15 to 30 minutes

Divide the dough into small equal balls

Flatten each ball with your palms

Press the edges with your fingers to widen the dough

Use a clean flat plate, bowl, or cutting board to press and shape the roti

Pat the dough between your palms, rotating it as you go

Dust lightly with flour if the dough sticks

Place the shaped roti on a hot tawa or skillet

Cook until bubbles appear

Flip and cook the other side

Press gently with a cloth or spatula to help it puff

Remove and serve warm
