How To Make Snickerdoodles?

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375°F

Line baking sheets with parchment paper

Whisk flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt

Cream butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy

Beat in eggs one at a time

Mix in vanilla extract

Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until combined

Stir together 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon

Shape dough into 1-inch balls

Roll each ball in cinnamon-sugar mixture

Place on baking sheets about 2 inches apart

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes

Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
