Soak them in clean water for the recommended time
Drain the water completely
Rinse and drain again 2 to 3 times a day
Keep them in a jar, bowl, or sprouting tray with good airflow
Store them in a cool, shaded place away from direct sunlight
Continue rinsing until small sprouts appear
Harvest when the sprouts reach the desired length
Rinse one final time before eating or storing
Refrigerate if not using immediately
