How To Make Starter Dough?

Mix equal parts flour and water in a clean jar or bowl

Stir until no dry flour remains

Cover loosely with a lid or cloth

Leave at room temperature for 24 hours

Discard half of the mixture

Add equal parts flour and water again

Stir well and cover loosely

Repeat feeding once or twice daily

Keep the mixture warm and at room temperature

Continue until it becomes bubbly and rises predictably

Use the starter dough when it smells pleasantly tangy and is active
