How to Make Superscript in Excel?

Select the cell and highlight the character(s) you want to format

Press Ctrl+1 to open Format Cells

Go to the Font tab

Check Superscript

Click OK

For a single character in a cell, edit the cell first, then select only that character and apply Superscript

Use the formula `=CHAR(185)` or `=CHAR(178)` for common superscript-like symbols where applicable

Use the Symbol menu to insert superscript characters if needed

Use Alt codes or Unicode superscript characters directly in the cell when available
