1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 small onion, finely grated or minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Mix breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl
Add ground beef, ground pork, onion, egg, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg
Mix until just combined
Shape into small meatballs
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat
Cook meatballs until browned on all sides and cooked through
Remove meatballs from skillet
Add flour to the skillet and whisk for 1 minute
Slowly whisk in beef broth
Add heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce
Simmer until sauce thickens
Return meatballs to the skillet
Coat meatballs in the sauce
Serve hot
