Gather silica sand, soda ash, and limestone
Measure and mix the raw materials
Heat the mixture in a furnace to very high temperature until it melts
Refine the molten glass to remove bubbles and impurities
Shape the molten glass by blowing, pressing, rolling, or drawing
Cool the shaped glass slowly in an annealing lehr
Cut, polish, or temper the glass as needed
Inspect the finished glass for defects
