How To Make Tuna Steak?

Pat the tuna steak dry with paper towels

Season both sides with salt and black pepper

Optional: rub with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, or soy sauce

Heat a skillet or grill over high heat

Add a small amount of oil to the pan

Place the tuna steak in the hot pan

Sear for 1 to 2 minutes per side for rare to medium-rare

Cook longer if you want it more done

Remove from heat

Let it rest for 1 to 2 minutes

Slice against the grain

Serve immediately
