How To Make Wine From Grapes?

Harvest ripe grapes

Remove stems and bad fruit

Wash grapes if needed

Crush the grapes

Transfer the crushed grapes to a fermentation vessel

Add wine yeast

Cover the vessel with an airlock or breathable cover

Let the mixture ferment

Stir or punch down the cap daily during primary fermentation

Strain out the solids after fermentation slows

Transfer the liquid to a clean vessel

Let the wine age

Rack the wine off sediment as needed

Bottle the wine

Store the bottles in a cool, dark place
