Start with the four quadrantal angles: 0°, 90°, 180°, 270°, 360°
Memorise the special angles: 30°, 45°, 60°
Use the radian equivalents: 0, π/6, π/4, π/3, π/2, π, 3π/2, 2π
Memorise the sine values in order: 0, 1/2, √2/2, √3/2, 1
Memorise the cosine values in reverse order: 1, √3/2, √2/2, 1/2, 0
Use the pattern for the first quadrant: sin increases, cos decreases
Apply the ASTC rule for signs by quadrant
Remember all values in quadrant I are positive
Remember sine is positive in quadrants I and II
Remember cosine is positive in quadrants I and IV
Remember tangent is positive in quadrants I and III
Use reference angles to get values in all quadrants
Memorise the exact values for tan: 0, 1/√3, 1, √3, undefined
Practice writing the unit circle from memory repeatedly
Test yourself by filling in angles, coordinates, and trig values
Group angles by symmetry to reduce memorisation
Use the coordinate form on the unit circle: (cos θ, sin θ)
Rehearse both degrees and radians together
Draw the circle often until the pattern becomes automatic
