Charge both Android phones
Connect both phones to Wi-Fi
Update both phones to the latest Android version if possible
On the old phone, sign in to your Google account
On the new phone, start the setup process
Choose to copy apps and data from an old Android phone
Connect the phones with a USB-C cable if available
Or use wireless transfer if prompted
Follow the on-screen instructions on both phones
Select the data you want to transfer
Include contacts, calendar, photos, videos, messages, apps, and settings
Wait for the transfer to complete
Sign in to apps that require login
Check that contacts, photos, and messages transferred correctly
Reinstall any apps that did not transfer
Restore WhatsApp or other chat apps separately if needed
Turn on backup on the new phone
Keep the old phone until everything is confirmed on the new phone
