Open the PDF in the Files app, Mail, Safari, or another app that supports Markup
Tap the Share button
Select Markup
Use the pen, highlighter, text, signature, or magnifier tools to edit the PDF
Tap Done to save the changes
Open the PDF in a PDF editor app from the App Store for advanced edits
Use apps like Adobe Acrobat, PDF Expert, or Foxit PDF Editor
In the editor app, open the PDF and use the edit tools to change text, images, or pages
Save or export the modified PDF
If the PDF is in Files, long-press the file and choose Quick Look or Open in a compatible app
Use the Files app to rename, move, duplicate, or share the edited PDF
If needed, print the PDF and save it again as a new PDF after editing with markup tools
