Remove the safe door if the manufacturer allows and it is necessary for weight reduction
Keep the safe upright whenever possible
Use at least two or more people for the move
Tilt the safe onto the dolly carefully
Strap the safe tightly to the dolly
Move slowly and communicate clearly with helpers
Use a ramp for steps or thresholds when possible
Avoid sharp turns and sudden movements
Secure the safe in the truck or trailer with straps and blocking
Place the safe against a solid wall during transport
Reinstall the safe on a level surface at the destination
Anchor the safe to the floor or wall if required
