Join or start a Zoom meeting
Click the microphone icon in the meeting controls to mute yourself
Click the microphone icon again to unmute yourself
Use Alt + A on Windows or Option + Shift + A on Mac to toggle mute
If you are the host, click Participants
Hover over a participant’s name
Click Mute to mute that participant
As host, click Mute All to mute everyone
Enable Mute My Microphone When Joining a Meeting in Zoom settings
Use the spacebar to temporarily unmute while holding it down if the setting is enabled
