Press the keyboard backlight key, often marked with a light icon
Use the Fn key plus the backlight key if required
Press the backlight key repeatedly until the light turns off
Check your laptop settings or keyboard software for a backlight off option
On some devices, use the brightness keys to reduce the keyboard light to off
If the keyboard has no backlight control, it may not be adjustable
