Wash the pomegranate
Cut off the crown
Score the skin from top to bottom in sections
Gently pull the fruit apart along the scored lines
Submerge the sections in a bowl of water
Loosen the seeds with your fingers
Let the seeds sink and remove the floating pith
Strain the seeds and drain the water
Use the seeds as desired
