Carry the key card, phone key, or key fob
Press the door handle on the outside to present it
Pull the door handle to open the door
If the handle is already out, pull it to open
From inside, press the door release button or pull the mechanical release
Use the emergency manual release only if needed
For rear doors, use the same outside handle or interior release
If the car is locked, unlock it first with the key card, phone key, or app
