Open Google Drive
Sign in to your Google account
Click New
Select File upload
Choose the Word document from your device
Wait for the upload to finish
Right-click the uploaded file
Select Open with
Click Google Docs
Edit the document in Google Docs
To save it as a Google Docs file, click File
Select Save as Google Docs
