Click the Start menu or search bar
Type Excel
Select Microsoft Excel from the results
Double-click the Excel icon on the desktop if available
Open the Microsoft Office folder from the Start menu and choose Excel
Open a workbook file by double-clicking an .xlsx file
Use the Run dialog, type excel, and press Enter
Open Excel from the taskbar if it is pinned there
