Remove any protective seal or cap if present
Hold the cylinder steady and upright
Use the correct wrench or hand grip for the valve cap
Turn the cap counterclockwise to loosen it
Do not force it if it is stuck
If it does not open easily, stop and contact the supplier or a qualified technician
After opening, check for gas leaks before use
