Find the seam or notch on the key fob
Insert a small flathead screwdriver or coin into the notch
Gently twist to separate the two halves
Work around the edge if needed to release the clips
Lift off the back cover
Remove the battery or internal components if required
Reassemble by aligning the halves and pressing them together until they snap shut
