Install a BitTorrent client such as qBittorrent, BitTorrent, uTorrent, or Transmission
Open the torrent file in the client by double-clicking it or using File > Open
If you have a magnet link, paste it into the client instead of opening a file
Choose the download location if prompted
Start the download
Wait for the file to finish downloading
Open the downloaded content from the folder where it was saved
