Choose a suitcase with enough space to avoid crushing the suit
Empty all pockets of the suit jacket and trousers
Button the jacket and zip or button the trousers
Turn the jacket inside out and fold one shoulder into the other if using a compact fold
Lay the jacket flat with sleeves aligned to reduce wrinkles
Fold the trousers lengthwise along the crease
Place tissue paper or dry-cleaning plastic between folds if available
Put the folded trousers on top of the jacket or inside the jacket fold
Place the suit in the suitcase near the top layer
Keep the suit away from heavy items like shoes and toiletries
Use packing cubes or a garment bag if available
Fill empty spaces around the suit with soft clothing
Unpack and hang the suit as soon as possible after arrival
