Clean the glass thoroughly with soap and water
Rinse and dry completely
Wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol
Choose paint made for glass or multi-surface use
Lightly sand the glass if the paint requires better adhesion
Apply painter’s tape to protect areas you do not want painted
Stir the paint well before use
Apply thin, even coats with a brush, sponge, or spray
Let each coat dry fully before adding another
Add additional coats until the coverage is even
Remove tape carefully after the paint is dry to the touch
Cure the paint according to the product instructions
Seal the painted glass if the paint requires a clear topcoat
Avoid washing or handling the glass until fully cured
