Turn on your TV and Fire TV Stick
Make sure the Firestick remote has fresh batteries
Hold the Home button on the Firestick remote for 10 seconds
Wait for the remote to pair automatically
If it does not pair, unplug the Fire TV Stick from power for 10 seconds and plug it back in
Hold the Home button again for 10 seconds
If needed, go to Settings on Fire TV
Select Controllers & Bluetooth Devices
Select Amazon Fire TV Remotes
Select Add New Remote
Press and hold the Home button on the new remote for 10 seconds
To control the TV power and volume, go to Settings
Select Equipment Control
Select Manage Equipment
Select TV
Follow the on-screen steps to set up TV control
If pairing still fails, replace the batteries and try again
If needed, restart the TV and Fire TV Stick and repeat the pairing steps
